Technical Convoys and Personnel from Romania and NATO members and partners countries, will travel through road, rail, air, sea and river communication routes during this period, in order  to participate, from 3 to 24 June, at the operational stage program at the most important multinational training program in Romania - Saber Guardian 2019 (SG19) and related exercises from this year.

So, the movement of the Romanian military convoys is made from the areas of peace deployment of the headquarters and units participating in the exercise to the training areas as Cincu, Babadag, Smârdan, Capu Midia, Boboc, Bordușani and other training areas, and those belonging to foreign armies will pass the Romanian borders to the same training locations.

The multinational exercise SG19 aims to highlight the cohesion, unity and solidarity of partners and allied states in defending against any aggression, especially through fast mobilization and concentration of forces in short time, anywhere in Europe.

The collective training activities in the training areas include tactical exercises and combat drills, watercourses, tactical displacement of units and medical-specific sequences.

In order to more effective training activities in an international context, the SG19 is linked to a series of national and multinational exercises, bringing the total number of military participants to around 13,500 troops from 14 Allied and Partner Countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Germany, Great Britain, Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and USA), of which 7,600 are the Romanian Armed Forces.

The multinational training program "Saber Guardian" was organized annually from 2013 until 2017, hosted by Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine. Starting in 2017, "Saber Guardian" is a biennial exercise. SG19 is included in the Armed Forces Command Joint Program of the United States in Europe to increase interoperability at a joint and multinational level with allied and partner nations.
