According to the Government Decision no. 912/2010 (H.G. nr. 912/2010) the approval for topogeodezical determination flights on a scale greater than 1: 20,000, aerial photography or aerial filming, performed by civil aircrafts (including drones), is issued by the Romanian Ministry of National Defense, through the Overflight, Aeronautical Relations and Regulations Section.

The aerial filming / photography approval is issued within 10 working days starting from the date of receiving the application forms (for aerial filming / photography) by the Overflight, Aeronautical Relations and Regulations Section at: survol@mapn.ro or fax 021/4102695.

The Overflight, Aeronautical Relations and Regulations Section will accept only the application forms that are filled out and have attached all the relevant information for the flights (documentation, maps, user manuals and other necessary approvals according to national laws).
